Focus Training require an NVQ Assessor within Retail delivering Apprenticeships to all age groups. A1 or D32/33 qualifications preferred however training will be given to the right candidate. It is essential that you have at least three years management or supervisory experience of having worked within the Retail sector.

Your role will be to train and assess learners across several retail establishments and you will be given a realistic and achievable workload. You will be expected to cover a 50 mile radius from your home location.  Due to the nature of the role you must be willing and able to travel (you must hold a full UK DVL).

with learner achievement rates of 80%+ and good Ofsted grades.

Apprenticeship position (ref:HalfLisk)

An employer in Liskeard is looking to recruit an a Professional Cookery Apprentice, to run the kitchen in Head Chefs absence, ordering stock, preparation and cooking of food and maintaining high standard of food hygiene. Full training and guidance will be given for the Apprentice to complete a Level 2 Professional Cookery Apprenticeship. Applicants should have an interest in the Catering industry.

Duties include:

 

  • To be able to maintain food safety
  • To be able to head chef when necessary
  • To be able to prepare and cook food to a high standard
  • To be able to maintain paperwork including ordering new stock
  • To be able to maintain a clean kitchen and place of work
  •  Regular one to one meetings with your Training Consultant to complete work for the Level 2 Apprenticeship

 

Initially this placement is available for the time it takes to complete the Apprenticeship however; full time employment may be offered after the successful completion of the Apprenticeship qualification, also a possible head chef position and input into the menu. You will need to have an experience in catering, be a team player and also work under your own initiative. You need to be hardworking and willing to learn and dedication to good standards.

Apprenticeship position (ref:CorVis)

A Plymouth employer is looking to recruit a Sales Apprentice, to work in a Tele-sales position - Possibly progressing to field sales in time. Full training and guidance will be given for the Apprentice to complete a Level 2 Sales Apprenticeship. Applicants should have an interest in the Marketing and Sales industry

Duties include:

  • To be able to deal with account management and cold calling
  • To be able to manage selling and advertising space.
  • To be able to complete some admin dutuies including emailing and marketing campaigns.
  • To be able to input Data
  • To be able to deal with customer payments
  • To be able to compile sales proposals.
  • Regular one to one meetings with your Training Consultant to complete work for the Level 2 Apprenticeship

 

Initially this placement is available for the time it takes to complete the Apprenticeship however; full time employment may be offered after the successful completion of the Apprenticeship qualification. It is known that previous staff have moved into journalism and presenting or working for national newspapers. You need to have good communications skills verbal and written, a good level of IT – Databases, Emails and basic Work Processing. Must also be keen and enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Apprenticeship position (ref:TufPlym)

This Plympton based company are looking to employ a Sales Apprentice to assist the Sales Director in maximising the business. The successful applicant must be well mannered, motivated, and professional. Full training will be provided for the Apprentice to complete a Level 2 Sales Apprenticeship.

Duties include:

·         To generate sales and marketing leads

·         To make and recieve telesales calls and make appointments

·         To prepare sales quotations and complete proposals

·         To support sales director to meet financial targets of the business

·         Regular one to one meetings with your Training Consultant to complete work for the Level 2 Apprenticeship

 

Initially this placement is available for the time it takes to complete the Apprenticeship however; full time employment may be offered after the successful completion of the Apprenticeship qualification. Prospects after apprenticeship, to progress to field sales position over time conducting face to face sales and account management.
