Information, Advice & Guidance
Focus Training provides the opportunity for learners and employers to receive Information, Advice and Guidance on specific issues and the requirements to allow learners to progress in their chosen career or enable them to enter employment.
This free service will provide:
- Advice and information on Focus Training courses
- Information on other courses not operated by Focus Training
- Guidance on our free IAG service
- Signposting to other local training providers
- Advice on where to access further information about Focus Training and our services
- Offering details on available job vacancies for Apprenticeship placements
All matters discussed with our professional staff will be in confidence and any advice provided with be tailored to your individual needs.

It is the policy of Focus Training that all actual and potential learners will be offered comprehensive high quality information, advice and guidance (IAG) where learner’s needs are at the centre of the process. This will allow learners to make the appropriate choices and for Focus Training to target resources appropriately. Where a learner requires in depth guidance beyond the expertise of Focus Training they will be signposted/referred to the appropriate agency/organisation.
